Johan Nel hails from the Pretoria region and is currently based in Hoekwil along the Garden Route. He is a well acclaimed South African artist who is destined to go far. His music can be described as a melancholic South Africa Now and is to say the least, beautiful and moving. His lyrics explore life in all its complexities and his craftsmanship as a musician definitely solid. His debut album entitled "Taal" is sure to gain him recognition as a musician to be taken serious and one to keep your eyes on.
